Spray Park

Yesterday, Kayla, Tori, Lisa, Miranda, Jordan, Aidan and I went to spray park. It's a huge park in Colts Neck called Dorbrook Park. One area of the park is called spray park and it has water shooting out of the ground and showers of water spraying down from above. It was so much fun! First we went to the spray area, then we had lunch in a covered picnic area, finally we went to the playground and played for a while.

Lots of new words

Kayla started saying lot of new words this weekend. She now says 'bubbles' every time she saw the jar of bubbles (my sister taught her that one), Ash for Ashley, which Ashley taught her, Nana, yellow and eyes (as she points to her eyes).

New Word

Kayla's new favorite word is up. Up on the couch, up on the bed, up on anything she can find that would apply to the word up! Up, Up, Up!

Now we're in trouble!

Kayla woke up this morning a little earlier than usual and I went in to get her. I walked in to find her still half asleep, halfway under the changing table! Somehow she got out of her crib and slept on the floor last night. Poor thing. I just got finished lowering her crib down to the last notch. It's only about 1 inch lower than where it was this morning but hopefully it will contain her a little longer.

We're in trouble!

We have a gate in the doorway of the hallway bathroom. The gate isn't all the way to the floor, it's anout 6 inches off the floor so the cats can get in and out under the gate. It's the bathroom that has the kitty litter, cat food and their water. Today, Kayla decided that she had enough of being blocked from this room so she got down on her stomach and slithered in comando style under the gate!
